Clean and tightly bound in pale blue cloth with pictorial cover illustration. Slight shelf wear to the edges and minor spine slant. The front endpaper shows scuffing and a 1/2" X 1/8" hole. The title page has a small corner creased. This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. There are no external indications of the library's ownership. The Mercantile Library stamp and number are on the title page and some of the internal pages and there are two very tiny pencil marks.
