Two "Shawkey" family names from West Virginia written in ink on the inside front page. Some slight foxing. Only 900 copies were printed of this limited edition; this one is number #582. The contents clean and tight with no inscriptions. Bound in a contemporary 1/2 dark red leather over marbled paper covered boards, some scuffing in part to the boards. The spine in 6 compartments with gilt bands, light rubbing to the head of the spine. The binding tight with no splits or chips. Not recorder in Keynes checklist of Pickering publications. A very good copy of a rare publication.
