Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Clipped jacket Jacket is in removable plastic cover.

Clean pages except for a bookplate on the front fixed endpaper; square, securely sewn binding, the illustrated red cloth hard cover showing only a little softening and surface wear at corners and spine ends. Dust jacket has a prior owner's name written at the lower front, some short, partially open tears at spine ends and corners, lines of scuffing along verticals, and a few stray pencil marks and smudges, but is now protected in a clear sleeve.
