Zustand: Fair. 1960. First Edition. 144 pages. Illustrated dust jacket over blue cloth boards. Gilt lettering. Contains black and white illustrations. Book has a slight smoky odour. Clean pages and illustrations with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Unclipped jacket. Panels and spine have light edgewear with tears and creases. Minor loss to spine and edges. Moderate tanning and wear marks to flaps, panels and spine.

Z : 156 Seiten/pp., 169 Abb./ills., Halbleinenhalfcloth - Claudio Mosers atmosphärisch dichte Bilder von Industriebrachen und Unorten entstehen auf ausgedehnten Spaziergängen durch die Randbezirke von Städten und Ballungszentren. Stundenlang lässt sich der Künstler treiben, geht manchmal bis zur Erschöpfung, und hofft, wie er es nennt, zum richtigen Zeitpunkt am richtigen Ort zu sein. Die belichteten und entwickelten Filme bleiben zunächst liegen; Moser sichtet die Fotos meist erst Jahre später, mit innerem Abstand, um sie intellektuell und künstlerisch besser bewerten zu können. Erst jetzt macht er von den besten Werken großformatige Inkjet-Prints, die dann den Zeitpunkt des Drucks als Entstehungsjahr tragen. Als Titel wählt Moser (*1959 in Aarau) statt der Städtenamen den Flurnamen des Gebiets, in dem die Arbeit entstand, was zu wundervollen poetischen Überlagerungen führt: Dreirosen, Brausebad oder Gay Head.
