The works from the 1970s were created in Auckland, while the works from 1990 to 2021 were created in Taranaki. The years from the 1970s to the 1990s were spent researching the mythic rationale behind the art of Marcel Duchamp, the philosophy of Ludwig Wittgenstein and the biology of Charles Darwin. This led in 1995 to the first-ever appreciation of William Shakespeare's brilliant nature-based philosophy, evident in his 1609 Sonnets. After publishing nine books on Shakespeare's philosophy from 2005, Peters returned to exhibiting art in 2021.…
