By all appearances this appears to be something of an ad hoc special signed edition; a $50 price sticker has been applied by the publisher over the $26 issue price printed to the top corner of the front jacket flap. While there is no limitation page or indication of a special signed edition, the higher priced sticker and the inscription to an important sales representative ( who saved many such limited and signed editions from her time in the trade) suggest this copy is an example of an ad hoc signed limited number of copies.
