The analysis emphasizes the dual role of education: for Victor, it becomes a source of hubris and isolation; for the creature, education fosters empathy, self-awareness, and a tragic longing for acceptance. Similarly, family is shown as a source of moral grounding-Victor benefits from a loving but emotionally distant family, while the creature suffers due to total social and emotional abandonment. Shelley's narrative structure and interwoven myths highlight the importance of responsibility, emotional education, and belonging. The paper concludes that Frankenstein is a cautionary tale about ethical responsibility in science and society. Sie beginnt mit theoretischen Grundlagen zu den Begriffen Integration und Migration und analysiert die Rolle des Sports als gesellschaftliches Teilsystem. Sport wird als soziales Feld dargestellt, das durch gemeinsame Aktivitäten interkulturelle Begegnungen fördert, Sprachbarrieren abbauen hilft und den Zugang zu gesellschaftlichen Strukturen erleichtern kann. Anhand statistischer Daten wird gezeigt, dass Jugendliche mit Migrationshintergrund häufig sportlich aktiv sind, jedoch seltener in Sportvereinen organisiert - insbesondere Mädchen. Ursachen hierfür liegen in kulturellen, sozioökonomischen und institutionellen Barrieren. Die Arbeit diskutiert vier Integrationsdimensionen: soziale, kulturelle, (alltags-)politische und strukturelle Integration. Sportvereine können einen wichtigen Beitrag leisten - etwa durch soziale Kontakte, Sprachförderung, Emanzipation und Orientierung an gesellschaftlichen Werten. Gleichzeitig werden aber auch die Grenzen der Integrationsleistung deutlich: ungleiche Beteiligung, Genderdifferenzen und geringe Teilhabe an Leitungsfunktionen. Abschließend wird betont, dass Sport kein Automatismus zur Integration ist, sondern gezielte, differenzierte Maßnahmen und weitere Forschung erfordert. Dennoch kann Sport in Einzelfällen eine wichtige Brücke zur Gesellschaft darstellen - besonders, wenn Vereine aktiver Integrationsarbeit betreiben und gezielt auf benachteiligte Gruppen eingehen.
