Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - Morningstar: Beth's StoryBook 2c of the Morningstar SeriesBeth's Story follows a young woman who slips back through time and finds herself in a Shoshone village in 1791. There she faces unexpected tragedy, love, and joy-experiences that shape her, teach her, and ultimately transform her.Joining some of the villagers on a buffalo hunt, and meeting others along the way, Bekah encounters people and events that reveal little-known aspects of the Revolutionary War-truths rarely found in textbooks. Through three remarkable women, she also learns elements of Mandan, Miami, and Arikara spiritual traditions that readers familiar with any of the Abrahamic scriptures will immediately recognize. As much as possible, this novel remains culturally and historically accurate while still delivering a deeply moving, emotionally rich story.
