Er vertritt dabei die Auffassung, "daß das Färben der Fasern in einer Flächenanziehung bestehe, die Farbe an der Faser der Baumnwolle nur mechanisch anhafte und die Faser beim Färbevorgang chemisch unwirksam sei" (Darmstaedter). - Stempel auf den Titeln.
