Located north of London on the Dunstable Downs in Bedfordshire, Whipsnade Zoo (ZSL Whipsnade Zoo and Whipsnade Wild Animal Park) opened in 1931; it is now the biggest zoo in the UK and one of the largest wildlife conservation parks in Europe, home to over 10,000 animals in an area of 600 acres. The zoo was advertised by London Transport promoting visits by Green Line Coach from Marylebone Station. In classical Greek mythology, Orpheus was a legendary musician, prophet and poet who was able to charm things by song and music. Drawn on Stone by Herry Perry finished on the feast of S.
