In den WarenkorbHardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Herry-Perry (illustrator). 1st Edition. 1930 hardback with cream board covers. Humerous verse with similar light hearted illustrations depicting famous London landmarks as at 1930. One of my favourites is Saint James' Park "Pelican Pelican why are you here.Your feathers are soiled and your beak is so queer.Citizen Citizen everyone knows. My beak is where most of your income-tax goes" Full of daftness and eccentricities , the tone is uplifting and should put a smile on your face. Interior has small stain to top edge of first blank page and title page otherwise clean with no writing, marks or tears. Front cover has stain to top edges as shown in photo, seams and hinges in tact, all pages tight in binding.
