A new species of the nudibranch genus Doriopsilla Bergh, 1880, D. debruini, is described from Hout Bay, South Africa. The new species is distinguished externally by a number of large darkbrown patches, the presence of high rhinophore sheaths and a very deep notch on the anterior foot. Internally the arrangement of the organs is typical for the genus with the presence of a large female gland and a flat prostatic gland. Differences between the known species are tabulated. 8 pp., 4 figs, gr. 8.

A new species of the nudibranch genus Aldisa Bergh, 1878, Aldisa erwinkoehleri spec. nov., is described from Thailand. The new species is characterized by simple and coalesced tubercles on the notum and a bright colour pattern, with a light blue background, concentric black rings, black rhinophores and yellow areas on the notum. The bursa copulatrix and the receptaculum seminis are joined and the prostatic tract of the vas deferens is not differentiated. A dense network of vessels is visible on the digestive gland. The bright colour pattern of A. erwinkoehleri is convergent with that of some sympatric phyllidiid nudibranchs of the genus Fryeria Gray, 1853. A new species of the nudibranch genus Phyllidia Cuvier, 1797, P. koehleri spec. nov., is described from the Maldive Islands. It is compared with the most similar congeneric species, P. polkadotsa and P. scottjohnsoni. Its colour pattern is convergent with that of five Indo-Pacific Phyllidiopsis species, sharing the habitus of Phyllidiopsis striata. 9 pp., 4 figs, gr. 8.

A check-list of the opisthobranch molluscs recorded from the Maltese Islands to date is presented; 163 species are reported of which 78 are new records.
