A prospectus describes it as 'a sociological satire containing an account of a cinema entertainment in Satan's Circuit and an appreciation of No.27, an English working man'. (Gill 259).

The actual number of copies is likely to be less than the 220 stated in the limitation as Pepler may have destroyed some copies as he was not happy with book. Scarce.
