This wonderful hardback book is in really fabulous condition, virtually unused or unread. Comes with a lovely matching dark green coloured box slipcase. Normal wear and marks apply consistent with use and age. 478 pages all intact, and a nice tight binding. All pages, text and illustrations are in really sound, clean, readable order. General Editor: David Skilton. The Claverings was first published in serial form in the Cornhill Magazine from February 1866 to May 1867. A two-volume book edition was published by Smith & Elder in April 1867. This edition follows the serial text with minor emendations. Set in Monotype Bell by Speedsools, Edinburgh.
