This wonderful hardback book is in really fabulous condition, virtually unused or unread. Comes with a lovely matching dark green coloured box slipcase. Normal wear and marks apply consistent with use and age. 478 pages all intact, and a nice tight binding. All pages, text and illustrations are in really sound, clean, readable order. General Editor: David Skilton. The Claverings was first published in serial form in the Cornhill Magazine from February 1866 to May 1867. A two-volume book edition was published by Smith & Elder in April 1867. This edition follows the serial text with minor emendations. Set in Monotype Bell by Speedsools, Edinburgh. Printed and bound in Great Britain at The Bath press, Avon. Another superb book from The Folio Society.
