Dimension extérieur 29,5 x 40 cm et image 25,5 x 36 cm. Lithographie très sympathique, probablement de la fin du 19 ème siècle, imprimée chez l'Imagerie d'Epinal Pellerin et cie. Dans son jus, papier bruni et présence de traces de pliures. Probablement issu d'un catalogue de mode, le but est de réaliser un montage de poupées de papier à l'aide de la notice. Français Imprimé par l'Imagerie d'Epinal Pellerin et cie, imprimerie fondé en 1796 par Jean-Charles Pellerin. Le bâtiment de cette imprimerie fait partie des monuments historique depuis 1986. Le tavole illustrano episodi salienti della storia politica e militare francese, offrendo uno sguardo vivido e dettagliato sul passato del Paese. Carta leggermente ed uniformemente brunita. Mezza tela coeva con titolo al piatto anteriore. Lievi aloni al piatto anteriore del secondo volume.Fondata alla fine del XVIII secolo da Jean-Charles Pellerin, l'Imagerie di Épinal pubblicò un gran numero di immagini incise su legno. A partire dagli anni Quaranta dell'Ottocento, alcune di esse vennero realizzate come sequenze di immagini narrative, dedicate a temi diversi e destinate ai bambini. Book.

Slim square 12mo, rose paper-covered thin boards, large mounted pictorial lithograph label at upper cover with original hand-coloring, text consists of single horizontal fold-out (from three sheets) containing eleven consecutive 4 1/2 X 4 1/2" lithograph images of soldiers from various European countries, all with original elaborate hand-coloring (including gilt highlights) , lithography credit of Pellerin, of Pinal, at top of cover label. Folder inconsistently sunned, tears and chipping along spine fold, fold-out in quite good condition with coloring very strong. Not in Gumuchian, not in OCLC, no copies in recent auction records. Images include British and Scottish infantry, Chasseurs de Vincennes, Infanterie Francaise en Tirailleurs, Infanterie Francaise Zouaves, Nouvelle Garde Imperiale, Officier Russe, and more. Small Parisian bookseller's paper sticker on rear cover. A quite scarce little item.

Printed on one side of a piece of wove paper, dimensions roughly 65 x 41.5 cm. Within a ruled border. On lightly aged paper, with chipping and slight loss to extremities. Three closed tears (two of them affecting the portrait) have been repaired on the reverse with archival tape. Text entirely legible and portrait clear, bright and without loss. The full-length portrait (31 x 25 cm), crudely coloured in yellow, red and blue, depicts the Emperor, in full regalia, standing in a sumptuous throne room. Sixty-six line biography, arranged in two columns. The last paragraph begins 'Louis-Napoléon a sauvé le pays. La nation, reconnaissante, vient de manifester hautement sa volonté de rétablir l'Empire, seul gage d'un avenir calme et prospère. - 8,000,000 de voix ont acclamé du nom de NAPOLÉON III, le Prince qui, depuis quatre ans, nous gouverne avec tant de sagesse et d'habileté.' The poem, 'A Napoléon III, Empereur des Français' ('Air du premier pas'), consists of nine four-line stanzas, each with a chorus of 'Vive l'Empereur! | Vive l'Empereur!' The first stanza reads 'Elle a sonné, l'heure de délivrance; | Elle a sonné, tous nos maux sont finis. | Napoléon règne encor [sic] sur la France, | C'est l'oint de Dieu, le sauveur du pays.'
