The Book 'Parasitic Zoonoses in the new millennium', is intended to provide enhanced fundamentals and updated information on a rapidly evolving subject of increasing concern for both medical and veterinary professionals. Parasitic diseases that are transmitted between humans and animals, represent a shared threat. Yet there commonly exist knowledge gaps among those trained in human health care regarding the veterinary component of such diseases and vice versa among vets. The present volume is in consonance with the 'One Health' concept.
