General fading and scuffing to the cloth, with minor soiling, and some discoloration to the rear cover. Moderate toning and scuffing to the cover pastedown, with some soiling. Some scuffing and fraying along the extremities. Minor toning to the paper in the interior. Small area of dampstaining faintly affecting the lower margins of the last several pages.

Covers have mild shelf and edge wear with fraying in the cloth along the crown and foot of the spine. Lettering on the spine is dull, but still legible. Corners are slightly bumped. The front gutter is cracked, but the text block remains secure with all pages present and attached. Mild foxing to fore edges. Previous owners inscription on the FFEP dated Christmas 1919.
