Minimi segni del tempo sulla sovraccoperta e arrossamenti sui tagli. Buono stato di conservazione nel complesso.

Durch den ?Gustav-Meyer-Platz? vor der Schleuse wurde dem Ehrenbürger Brunsbüttelkoogs ein Andenken gesetzt. Der Deutsche Kaiser Wilhelm II. hat 1913 mit ihm eine Wette um 3 Flaschen Sekt abgeschlossen, daß der Termin Juni 1914 nicht eingehalten werden könne. Zur termingerechten Eröffnung meldete der Geheime Oberbaurat die Schleusen klar und erhielt daraufhin die 3 Flaschen Sekt von Seiner Majestät. Die Solltiefe von 11m auf ganzer Länge wurde allerdings erst 1915 erreicht.).
