In den WarenkorbVintage black-and-white reference still photograph from the Spanish release, circa 1962, of the 1961 Italian-French film. Owner name rubber-stamped on the verso, in Spanish. Pictured is Claudia Cardinale, Renato Baldini, and Angela Portaluri (former "Miss World" competitor). Valerio Zurlini's second feature film, and his second…credit as director, after several short documentaries released in Italy, and his feature directorial debut, "Violent Summer" (1959). Alda (Cardinale) is a discarded girlfriend who takes to the road with her suitcase. A slick hunk picks her up and take her to his home, where she meets his younger brother, Lorenzo (Perrin). The two share an unspoken but clearly evident mutual appreciation of one another, Lorenzo's esteem perhaps more romantic than Alda's flighty acknowledgment of his emotional maturity. Set in Parma, Italy, shot on location there and in Riccioni and Rome, Italy. 7 x 9.5 inches. Very Good plus, with pinholes and faint creases at the corners.
