Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - In this book, Robert Leeson and Charles Palm have assembled an amazing collection of Milton Friedman's best works on freedom. Even more amazing is that the selection represents only 1 percent of the 1,500 works by Friedman that Leeson and Palm have put online in a user-friendly format--and an even smaller percentage if you include their archive of Friedman's audio and television recordings, correspondence, and other writings. This book and the larger online collection are sorely needed and very welcome. Milton Friedman deserves to be read in the original by generation after generation.

Manuskript / Papierantiquität
Draft script for the first episode of the 1989-90 NBC television series, which aired on September 21, 1989. Copy belonging to actor Nick Dimitri, who played Heavy #1, with his stamp on the top of the title page, and manuscript ink annotations on the cast page listing the actors next to their characters and noting director David Hemmings. Laid in is a Call Sheet, dated 5/15/89. Not to be confused with the 2001 film, directed by Brian Robbins starring Keanu Reeves, the 1994 Fox television series about a fictional American League baseball team, or the 2019 Australian children's television series. Created by Robert Plam, the series, about a veteran plainclothes detective, Charles Battles (John Ashton), who is about to be reassigned to a desk job or forced into retirement, and is forced to partner with a young unconventional detective, Joe "Kaz" Kaczierowski (Richard Tyson), with whom he is constantly at odds, aired for one season of 18 episodes, before ending on June 29, 1980. In the premiere episode, Battles finds out he's about to be reassigned to desk job and is partnered with the young hotshot "Kaz", before being quickly assigned to protect a key witness, the wife of a mobster and an old girlfriend of Battles, who is about to testify against her husband. Set in Los Angeles. Front wrapper integral with title page, dated April 24, 1989, with credits for screenwriter Frank Lupo. 109 leaves, with last page of text numbered 106. Xerographic duplication, rectos only, with pink revision pages throughout, dated 4/26/89. Pages Very Good plus, with light foxing to the outer leaves and fore-edge, bound with two gold brads.
