Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - This little work is a fine collection of poetry for those interested in the same; with a pagan twist, involved with love, love loss, death, and the celebration of life in general. Some of the poems venerate nature in a quasi-worshipful sense, as tends to be the case in neopaganism as well.At once entertaining and therefore spiritually useful, 'Poems of Paganism' is of potential use for the more artistic spiritual occultist.

Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Tomic-Paganus, Darko (illustrator). Neuware - Darien, now coming to terms with both the loss of his home and his abilities as a newly christened Ryudojin that binds him to a precocious young dragon, finds himself becoming immersed deeper and deeper into the intrigue plaguing his adopted homeland. The mad tyrant Bamaul is furthering his own insidious plans as Darien and his friends continue on their journey to overthrow the tyrant king. During his travels Darien will find that there may be even more to what drives Bamaul towards his incomprehensible goals than what he had previously been led to believe. He begins to accept that the events of the world around him may be more complex than what any of them had initially thought and he is determined to set things right. New friends, enemies and questionable allies enter Darien's life as the young man from Village Breathwynd must attempt to discern friend from foe while trying his best to stay alive. As a Ryudojin, he has also learned a great deal about the young dragon he is now bound to for better or for worse, but just getting her to concentrate long enough to accomplish anything often proves to be more trouble than it's worth!

Erstausgabe
Softcover. Zustand: G- to good condition. First edition. Octavo. 24pp. Original white wraps with black lettering on cover. Text elucidating a controversy between Rabbi Süskind from Wiesbaden and the Israelite Religious Community in Frankfurt. Published by Limbarth, Süskind's pamphlet was a scathing attack on the 'Statutes of the Jewish Religious Society (israelitische Religions-Gesellschaft)' in Frankfurt a. M., that were accepted by the General Assembly of the Society on February 21, 1875. The author of this text (Paganus) questions Süskind's motives for criticizing the Frankfurt statutes openly, particularly in view of it coming one year after their publication. The author contends that Süskind's intention may have been based more on his concern, that his Wiesbaden community might loose members to Frankfurt, in view of the expected suspension of the law constraining Jewish citizen's to be members only in the community they live in. The author of this pamphlet conludes that Süskind's critique therefore seems less concerned with the well being of the Frankfurt community than the potential loss of members in his own community. The text sheds light on the struggle of Jewish scholars and communities to achieve equal footing with that of natural born German citizens and organizations. This against the backdrop of the fight for emancipation of the Jews and their religion, as it was granted by Otto von Bismarck in 1869. The writer of this well conceived pamphlet remains anonymous (von einem "Paganus") while the title indicates his intention, to shed light on the erroneous ways of Rabbi Süskind. Text in German, Gothic script. Spine reinforced with narrow light blue paper strip, this with chips on covers, cracked at spine. Pamphlet with light to medium foxing.
