In den WarenkorbAfter the study of literature and material collected at both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, in the Mediterranean and Carribean, all the nominal species belonging to the blue cromatic group are reviewed. From this study it is conclded that there are 17 valid species in this area, 1 belonging to the genus Glossodoris: Glossodoris ed…mundsi, 14 to the genus Hypselodoris: Hypselodoris villafranca, H. tricolor, H. picta, H. orsinii, H. fontandraui, H. bilineata, H. acriba, H. bayeri, H. zebra, H. ruthae, H. marci, H. cantabrica, H. malacitana and H. pinna, 2 to the genus Mexichromis: mexichromis francoisae and M. kempfi, and 1 to the genus Risbecia: Risbecia nyalnya. For the species H. picta. H. bilineata and H. villafranca subspecies have been defined on the basis of differences in colour pattern. Eight new species are described, 6 in the genus Hypselodoris: Hypselodoris gasconi n. sp., Hypselodoris gofasi n. sp., Hypselodoris xicoi n. sp., Hypselodoris ciminoi n. sp., Hypselodoris muniani n. sp. and Hypselodoris espinosai n. sp., 1 in the genus Chromodoris: Chromodoris goslineri n. sp., and 2 in the genus Mexichromis: Mexichromis molloi n. sp. and Mexichromis garciagomezi n. sp. 165 pp., 121 figs, br. gr. 8.
