This includes essays by Flora Annie Steel (India), R Talbot Kelly (Egypt) HH Johnston (East Africa), Ian Malcolm (Suez) among others. Covers near fine, lightly rubbed. Interiors fine except for several neat ink entries in the log book for the route from Kobe to Singapore aboard the SS Malwa with stops in Shanghai and Hong Kong (16-29 June 1927) and from Penang to Suez aboard the SS Mantua via Colombo, Aden (29 July - 13 August 1927). Jacket darkened, with tears, and loss to spine ends.
