In den WarenkorbA substantial and well-regarded eight-volume historical series tracing the development of Europe from the fall of the Roman Empire to the end of the nineteenth century. Issued by Rivingtons in sturdy cloth bindings, the series became a standard reference work and remains a useful and readable survey of European political and social history. Contributors include Charles Oman, T F Tout, R Lodge, A H Johnson, Henry Offley Wakeman, H Morse Stephens, and W Alison Phillips, all respected authorities in their fields.
