Cloth. Zustand: Fair. No Jacket. Pictorial blue and gilt decorated cloth. 152 pages. All edges gilt. Plates and text illustrations. Covers in quite good condition with mild wear only and the gilding still quite bright, despite its age, but the binding is shaky with light foxing throughout. Small nibble to contents page; small ar…ea of damp-staining to front endpaper and frontis. which is tissue-guarded. "James 1863" in pencil on front endpaper and reverse of frontis has the remains of a similar pencilled inscription and sketch which has left an imprint. However, despite its faults and used condition, this is SCARCE and is the annual of the forerunner of the Boy's Own Paper.
