L'aménagement et la décoration intérieure sont analysés par Bruno Foucart, professeur d'histoire de l'art à l'université de Paris-Sorbonne. Claude Villers, producteur d'émissions de radio et télévision et journaliste, rend son souffle de vie à NORMANDIE en racontant la vie quotidienne des passagers et membres d'équipage. Enfin, la nostalgie marquant l'histoire du paquebot, François Robichon, historien d'art, tenait à évoquer la passion fétichiste qui nimba NORMANDIE de gloire depuis 1935. Plus de 400 illustrations - dont de nombreux inédits - font de "NORMANDIE" un album-souvenir brillant et vivant qui rend hommage à ce superbe avatar du génie français. 27,5x35,5 cm. 207 p.
