Hardcover. Zustand: As New. No Jacket. 1st Edition. New Haven: Yale University Press, 2002. First edition, first printing, with full number line including the 1. Hardcover. The manuscript remained effectively sealed for decades and was only released posthumously in 2002, when it appeared for the first time in print, accompanied by a foreword by Edward Albee, who emphasizes its importance as a key document in understanding O Neill s emotional life and the origins of his mature dramatic voice. Eugene O Neill is the author of Beyond the Horizon, The Emperor Jones, Anna Christie, Mourning Becomes Electra, The Iceman Cometh, and Long Day s Journey into Night, and the recipient of four Pulitzer Prizes and the Nobel Prize in Literature.…
