A delightful work regarding the history of women's book-plates, drawing attention to those ex-libris which have prominent owners, and noteworthy designs. A fascinating read for collectors and book-lovers alike. With a beautiful engraved bookplate for one, 'Alice Marcy Dumas', designed by Sydney Vacher inserted into the book. The half title page is present. With a bookplate for one, 'Harry Percy Boord', to the front paste-down and one for, 'Mary Ethel Margaret Copeman', to the front free endpaper. In the publisher's full cloth binding. Externally, smart with some shelf wear to the extremities. Closed tears and fraying to the spine. Spine is faded. A few light marks to the boards.
