Hardcover. Zustand: Good. No Jacket. A lovely period hardback book, with gorgeous gilt designs and title impressions on the spine. Gilt edging to each page, ninety-seven beautiful copper engravings. Published for the Proprietors in June 1817. Personal Pen & Pencil Inscription inside. The book is in reasonably good condition, normal wear and marks apply consistent with use and age. All pages intact, and in most cases the copper engravings are in good order, however there is some foxing throughout the book in places. Volume 9. There is wear to cover on the corners and spine, please see photos. A beautiful book thats worth preserving for future generations. The copper engravings really show the social scene of that period of time, so absolutely fascinating for historians to view Great Britain in the Nineteenth century.
