Its focus is on exploring how theseinterconnected transformations-and their engendered, emotional experiences-set the context for understanding suicidal behavior in a particular location. The understanding that 'farmers' suicides' are objectively, uniformly, and exclusively marked by 'farm-related' factors are thus interrogated.
