Illustrated with a colour frontispiece to all, and thirty-six plates, most in colour, to "Pies, Pastries". Seventeen plates, most in colour, to "Egg, Flour". Fifteen plates, most in colour, to "Fish, Game". Collated, lacking one plate. Sixteen plates, most in colour, to "Cold Dishes". Sixty-two coloured plates to "200 Dinners". Collated, complete. In the publisher"s original cloth, with the original unclipped dust wrappers to two volumes, lacking the dust wrappers to the rest. Externally very smart with minimal edge wear, and fading to the spine to four volumes. Damp staining to the rear board to 'Fish'. Bookplates to the front endpapers. The wraps are sunned to the spines, loss and small closed tears to the extremities repaired with archival tape, and slight marks. Internally firmly bound to most with one plate disbound but present to "Fish, Game". Pages clean and bright. Very Good. book.
