Inscribed 'with authors compliments' to Dave Wagner, who then inscribed the book 'To Tom with my compliments, Dave Wagner'. David Wagner is an entomologist at the University of Connecticut, and we believe that the Tom that Wagner inscribed the book to is the late Thomas E. Mittler, who was an entomologist at UC Berkeley.
