No Binding. Zustand: Very Good. Oversized hardcover. 52 plates of paintings by Vladimir Zamfirescu, presented alongside the poetry of Nichita Stanescu. Plates measure 15'' x 11.5''. Encased in a 17'' x 12'' clamshell-style box. Box is dark green, and the front cover depicts a figure wearing a hat. White lettering on the front co…ver and spine. The top of the box is a bit disoriented: it looks as if it's been a bit caved in due to something being stacked on top. It's all in one piece and meets neatly at the fore-edge, but bows in near the spine. The bottom end of the tray also just out a bit from the front cover. Small closed tear on the head of the spine. The box structure is otherwise sound and unmarked but for a bit of rubbing. Sheets are unpaginated. Each sheet has a photograph of the handwritten poem by Stanescu and a color painting by Zamfirescu on the reverse side. Pictorials are bright and colorful. Plates are in very good condition.
