In den WarenkorbZustand: Poor. Volume IV of at least a set of 4. Latin text. Original brown leather hardback cover is rejointed, with decorative gold stamping on the hubbed backstrip complete with gold lettering on a black leather plate. The cover is in poor condition, heavily scuffed on the corners, edges and faces with the leather being torn…through in places. The cover has additional decorative stamping on all three edges of both the front and back covers, visible as gold patterning. The backstrip is split into 7 sections by the hubbing, and all sections remain intact although the top section shows slight damage from bookworm beetle activity. Additionally there are multiple wormholes surrounding the backstrip, although the pageblock itself appears to be unaffected by bookworm beetle activity. The binding throughout the pageblock remains firm, and the pageblock is cut, with all edges being sprinkled with red paint. The edges are also browned with age, and dirty especially on the top edge due to shelving. The title page appears in red and black text, and has some pen marginalia, although this does not encroach upon the lettering. The text throughout the rest of the pageblock is in fair condition, with no annotations (other than pen marginalia on page 467) or significant markings other than slight to heavy foxing on several leaves. Some leaves are also browned with age, notably 218-223, 255-264, 273-280, 289-304, 411-414 and 611-614. This book consists of 645 pages. There is a bookplate identifying the previous owners of this book inside the front cover. This book has hardback covers. Privately owned, With slight and inoffensive markings, In poor condition, suitable as a reading copy. No dust jacket. Please note the Image in this listing is a stock photo and may not match the covers of the actual item,2950grams, ISBN.
