Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. Mexican actress Nancy Torres appeared in eight films from 1930 to 1938, and is best remembered for her solo performance of the song "It Happened in Monterey" in the film "King of Jazz" (1930), as well as her leading performances in the Mexican films "Rebel Souls" (1937) and "Canto a mi tierra" (1938). 8 x 10 inches.
