After the retirement from M.D.University, Rohtak, he worked as consultant at Kota Open University and also joined at Banaras Hindu University as Professor on Babu Jagjivan Ram Chair. He has completed a large number of projects sponsored by UGC, ICSSR, NGO and state and central government. He is distinguished social analyst. His work includes political sociology, sociology of profession, sociology of deviance and crime and studies on underprivileged. He has published about ten books and 50 research papers in national and international journals.
