Este libro de la Colección Economía y Sociología de la Editorial Tirant lo Blanch recoge las ponencias presentadas en este Congreso sobre Economía Colaborativa y Bancos de Tiempo. Los valores que sustentan la economía colaborativa podríamos decir que son tan antiguos como la humanidad, pero lo que hoy entendemos por economía colaborativa es un fenómeno relativamente reciente. Se trataría de un tipo de economía que podría ser definida como "gente coordinando la adquisición y distribución de un recurso a cambio de recibir un pago u otro tipo de compensación" (Belk2013).
