The author of this book, Maruyama Munetoshi, invented the depth synthesis photography method while working at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, USA, and took photos of various insects. This book shows the pictures of 138 species of treehoppers with different shapes and incredible antennae taken by the author. These small insects with a body length of about 2 mm to 25 mm can evolve into a variety of horns, which is like a fantasy world. This book fully reflects the ecological diversity and is eye-opening. The book is mainly based on pictures, showing treehoppers with antennae of various shapes such as sharp, swollen, crescent-shaped, etc., fully presenting their exquisite beauty.
