Ian Mudie, born in Adelaide in 1911, has a career in writing interupted by intervals working as a farmhand and insurance salesman. As a youth he spent time "carrying the swag". His poetry has won awards including [for "The Australian Dream"] the W.J. Miles Memorial Prize in 1943. The Australian Dream was been performed by the Therry Society, Melbourne. This collection contains: Corroboree to the Sun, This is Australia, Their Seven Stars Unseen, The Australian Dream, Unabated Spring.
