Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. No Jacket. This little book (5 x 5 7/8") dated 1850 is in REMARKABLY good condition for its age. For a children's book can you imagine the hands and the families that this little book went through? Beautiful brown buckram cover on this hardback with faded gilt embossed image on front. Faded embossed design and gilt titling on spine. Hand colored lithographs inside. See photos. VERY RARE. Could not find another copy anywhere, so I'm guessing at this price. Might be priced too low for the scarcity. A true collectible. Will NOT go down in value as long as the ne owner keeps this intact. Signed and dated Christmas 1852 inside front page. BR (Box 164).
