As the result of a shooting death of a police officer during the August 8, 1978 raid on the MOVE Organization headquarters, 9 leading members of the MOVE Organization were sentenced to 30 to 100 year prison terms. On May 13, 1985, the Philadelphia police launched a full- scale military assault on the MOVE Organization headquarters - including aerial bombardment - and killed eleven MOVE Organization members, five of them children.

Issue 23 has a stain to front page, otherwise all are in Very Good condition. Contributors include MOVE Organization founder John Africa & Death Row- imprisoned Black revolutionary Mumia Abu-Jamal. Contents mainly concern the 9 MOVE members serving 30 to 100 year prison terms, the case of Mumia Abu-Jamal, and the cases of other imprisoned American black revolutionaries.
