Zustand: Good. 2nd impression. Cloth, G+. 232pp, b/w frontis, 14pp b/w plates showing 21 images, index, SIGNED by the author to the half title, old sellotape marks to the endpapers, cloth a little rubbed. The memoirs of Sir Leonard Hutton [ 1916 - 1990 ] the English cricketer. He played as an opening batsman for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1934 to 1955 and for England in 79 Test matches between 1937 and 1955. Wisden Cricketers' Almanack described him as "one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket". 450 grams.

Scarce dust jacket is lightly soiled w/ large missing chips & toning. Hardcover is good+ with bright red cloth minus some rubbed off ink on spine (see photo), light spine lean & clean pages. Seven b/w plates are present of which one (p. 104) appears to have detached but has been re-attached albeit sticking out slightly (there is slight pulling of signatures at gutter, but no loose pages or splitting. Overall nice copy, see photos.
