First printed in 1983, this specific book was a second impression, reprinted in 1984. There is a nice foreword by General the Rt Hon. Lord Ismay, GCB, CH, DSO. Secretary-General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and from 1940 to 1946, Chief of Staff to Mr Winston Churchill, the Minister of Defence. All 642 pages intact, all pages, text, illustrations and maps are in good, readable order. This wonderful book brings together, four impressive true stories of the Second World War. Each reveals the selfness courage and devotion to a free Europe shown by members of the Resistance Movement who contributed so much to winning of the Secret War.
