Januar 1926 in New York City; 3. September 1987 in Buffalo) war ein US-amerikanischer Komponist. Er gilt als einer der Pioniere der grafischen Notation. Weil diese dem Interpreten zu viel Freiheiten ließ, verwarf er sie 1969 wieder und kehrte zur präzisen Notation zurück. -- Manchmal wurde und wird Feldmans Werk als Meditationsmusik missverstanden.
