It is dated 5th January and states, in pencil: 'Sent on approval as being of interest'. - The dustjacket is in pretty good shape for 1937. Additional to the title, author and publishers names, it unusually states to the spine: 26 plates in half-tone by R.M. Greenslade There are a few small chips to the top and bottom of the spine. The spine is also faded in comparison and soiled in general, with foxing. Now housed in a protective removable archival sleeve for future protection. - Beautifully clean dark green cloth with white lettering to the spine, which is faded but still legible. Boards are clean and tightly bound to the page block. - Pages are of a very good quality stock. Very light foxing, most apparent to the page edges. There are 15 chapters and the main body of text is on 281 pages. Hysteria, hypochondria, and epilepsy are grouped together, and what appear to be psychoses proper are put in the nex-to-last (fifth) group as 'idiopathic' - a term . having no meaning but that of a verbal label" - Zilboorg & Henry.
