His stories were often very realistic and dealt with ordinary and poor people. Idris, who wrote regularly for the acclaimed daily "Al-Ahram" - newspaper (which still exists), was nominated a few times for the Nobel prize for literature, but never won it. [The only Egyptian to ever win the Nobel Prize of Literature was Nagib Mahfouz, a contemporary of Idris] Very minor age wear. Overall, clean and tight. In English, translated by a variety of translators from Arabic. Very good condition.
