Then, thepipe dynamics is studied with different boundaryconditions and the study includes the effect of thepump pulsation on the pipe response.New control strategy is introduced to minimizevibration levels, reduce the rise time, and to reducenoise levels. Then, it is generalized to control thepump flow according to load requirements and pipevibration levels. A compensation factor is introducedto moderate the negative impact of the pipevibrations, and to generate a new set value for theinclination angle.For timely detection of faults, the application ofwavelet analysis to detect different defects isexamined. Some defects are produced, such as pipeflutter, pump dynamic instability, and voltageunbalance in driving electric motor. Suggestionsfor future work are proposed.
