An Iowa congresswoman enlists a US army captain to assist her in an investigation of a former Nazi entertainer. Unbeknownst to the congresswoman, however, the captain and the entertainer are engaged in an affair, leading the captain to seduce the congresswoman in an attempt to hide his conflicting motives.
