Feeling of insecurity in the shape of religion and minority complex gathered a smoke of discontentment among the Muslim community and it fuelled the rivalry between the Hindus and Muslims. But in the course of time they managed to patch up their feud to a great extent and began to live as co-citizens. The British imperialist gave their sanctification to the Muslim in order to divide the Indian Community and to weaken the growing dominance of the Indian National Congress. Their political strategy was materialised when the Indian Muslim League was formed in 1906 and as exactly thought for by the British bureaucrats stood face to face to the Indian National Congress.
