Octavo full leather in need of attention, front cover loose, end papers appear to have been used for arithmetical calculations in dollars in an eighteenth century hand possibly indicating early post revolution American ownership, top half of title page missing, general foxing and one section loose, frontis piece to Book VII torn and repaired on verso with acid free tape, other frontis pieces in good order, the artist is not indicated but these are well executed illustrations, 456 pages plus 112 pages of indeces unpaginated.
