He Debuted In The Pulp Magazines With About 50 Interior Illustrations And Four Cover Paintings For The May To December 1951 Issues Of Galaxy, A Monthly Edited By H. L. Gold. In That Year Or 1952 He Also Did His First Book Cover For The U.S. Paperback Edition Of Odd John (Galaxy Publishing Corp.) In 1979, He Produced Sunstone, A Groundbreaking Three-Minute 3-D Computer-Generated Video Made At The New York Institute Of Technology With Alvy Ray Smith.[4] Now In The Museum Of Modern Art's Video Collection, Sunstone Was Exhibited At Siggraph 79, The 1981 Mill Valley Film Festival And Other Festivals. In 1979, It Was Shown On Wnet's Video/Film Review, And A Single Sunstone Frame Was Used On The Front Cover Of Fundamentals Of Interactive Computer Graphics, Published In 1982 By Addison-Wesley. Finney, Avram Davidson, Will Worthington, and Robert Bloch; three novelettes by Algis Budrys, Walter M. Miller and Lincoln Boone, and P.G. Wodehouse; and a long featured story by James E. Gunn. (The somewhat unexpected in tis context P.G. Wodehouse story is "Honeysuckle Cottage", and involves Mr Mulliner and a story about a haunted house. It was apparently described by Ludwig Wittgenstein as the funniest thing he had ever read.).

Venture Science Fiction was an American digest-size science fiction magazine, first published from 1957 to 1958, and revived for a brief run in 1969 and 1970. (A British edition appeared for 28 issues betwe…en 1963 and 1965; it reprinted material from The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction as well as from the US edition of Venture. This is the Australian version of the British edition, which was published two months later in Australia.) The magazine published some well-known writers, and SF historian Mike Ashley has suggested it was ahead of its time. This issue includes six short stories by Hugo Correa, Gordon R. Dickson, Charles L. Fontemay, Allen Drury, Theodore Sturgeon, and Rex Lardner; novelettes by Leigh Brackett and Sylvia Edwards; and a long featured story by Edgar Pangborn.

He Debuted In The Pulp Magazines With About 50 Interior Illustrations And Four Cover Paintings For The May To December 1951 Issues Of Galaxy, A Monthly Edited By H. L. Gold. In That Year Or 1952 He Also Did His First Book Cover For The U.S. Paperback Edition Of Odd John (Galaxy Publishing Corp.) Because He Experimented With A Diversity Of Techniques, There Is No Typical Emsh Cover.
